Τhe ReGeneration Academy on Female IT Career Pathways in partnership with INCO Academy – Work in Tech with support from Google.org commences!
The participants will be divided into 5 groups, and through a blended scheme of synchronous and asynchronous learning with a duration of 163 hours, will have the opportunity to attend the specialized certification Google IT Support Professional Certificate available on Coursera (self-paced).
At the same time, the participants will attend recap sessions, in groups, (Instructor-led) on the courses taught on Coursera. The recap sessions will last 2 hours and will be conducted at the end of each training module in a virtual classroom with guidance from accomplished instructors from Code.Hub. The instructor-led training are designed and conducted in order for the participants to acquire the necessary knowledge and expertise on the subject, but also learn how to apply the theory to practice, based on the signature hands-on approach and training-for-production philosophy of Code.Hub.
The thematic units and the whole approach of the training will be adapted to the current reality and needs of the Greek IT industry. With the synchronous training, the participation and progress of the participants will be continuously monitored and aligned as the instructor-led sessions can act as checkpoints for the next phases and the instructors can provide their help and expertise where assistance is needed during the whole course duration.
Additionally, the instructor-led training will stimulate communication, cooperation and networking among the participants and all the stakeholders of the initiative, and allow them to get a valuable glimpse of the intricacies of the tech industry and the people surrounding it. This will enhance the engagement and interest of the participants, keep them motivated and eager to learn more, and inspire them to chase new and exciting opportunities in the tech world.
During the program, the participants will develop vital skills needed to progress in entry-level IT positions as well as in other fields. These skills are relevant for day-to-day customer support and troubleshooting, and a significant asset for a wide variety of positions in several fields. Additionally, the participants will also become familiar with wireless networking troubleshooting, the efficient use of Linux systems, Domain Name Systems, Command-Line Interface and Binary Code etc. Following the completion of the training modules, participants will also receive complimentary training on cutting-edge soft and digital skills, needed in the contemporary job market (including CV & LinkedIn Building, Communication skills, Presentation skills, Design Thinking, Growth Mindset).
The Academy will be conducted through Coursera Learning, it will last for 17 weeks with approximately 9 Hours of training each week, for a total of 153 hours (self paced).
After each thematic unit, a live-online, instructor-led Recap Session will be conducted by Code.Hub, for 2 hours each. A Total of 5 Recap Sessions will be conducted, adding up to +10 additional training hours.

When you successfully complete the ReGeneration Academy on Female IT Career pathways in partnership with INCO Academy – Work In Tech with support from Google.org, you will receive a certificate of attendance from Google Career Certificates through Coursera as well as a certificate from Athens Tech College & Code.Hub.
Conditions for Participation
The program is designed for new graduates of any Greek or foreign school (AEI / TEI / College) and new professionals who are taking their first professional steps.
Up to 29 years old, as the program is aimed at graduates at the beginning of their careers.
Zero or limited work experience
Work experience from 0 to 3 years full-time, upon completion of studies.
Active participation in extracurricular activities (ex. volunteering, sports, entrepreneurship, art, and any other non-academic activity).
The purpose of the program is to prepare properly competitive candidates from any field for high-demand IT job positions as well as in other sectors that present a talent deficit in the Greek market.
By completing the ReGeneration Academy on Female IT Career pathways in partnership with INCO Academy – Work in Tech with support from Google.org, candidates will be job-ready to be absorbed by companies in various industries in organic positions such as:
